Mummy only Time: Home Beauty and Massage Treatments
There’s something to be said about having a massage at a spa because of the pampering and the environment. But, there’s also something to be said about having a massage in the comfort of your own home. You can relax, you don’t have to drive anywhere, and you can collapse straight into bed.
The company, set up in 2009, has grown rapidly, with therapists available across the UK, attracting film stars, supermodels, TV presenters, corporate and fashion clients, and busy working mums. They offer from pregnancy massage, reflexology, facials and waxing, to make up lessons or special occasion makeup, hair styling and pamper parties (and Princess Parties for 5-16 year olds too)
The cost: a one hour massage with Blossom and Jasmine is £55. It’s not unusual to have to spend £90 for an hour’s massage in London, so the prices are very reasonable.

For dry and sensitive skin, you can apply a mix of honey, organic olive oil and and few drops of lemon juice on your face for 10 minutes.
People with oily skin, have wonderful facemask prepared from grapes, egg white and lemon. Apply this for about 20 minutes on your face and see the results.
Take yogurt, ground almonds, honey and oat. Mix and apply it on your face for 5 minutes and wash it off with lukewarm water.
For cleansing purposes, you can use cucumber and raw milk, which are natural cleansers.
A mix of honey, gram flour, organic olive oil and cream of milk makes a good face pack.

Dreaming of gorgeous, glossy, beautiful long hair.

Tryed and Tested by Blossom and Jasmine Manager Hannah
All women dream about having beautiful long hair like the models in professional hair care adverts. We even invest in these expensive products in the hope they will make our locks grow faster, thicker and shiners but… often to no avail.
Well no need to look any further, we’ve found some interesting hair masks from natural products that are supposed to help your hair grow faster.
1. Brandy and onion mask
You’ll need a tablespoon of brandy (yes brandy!), a teaspoon of lemon juice, a tablespoon of honey and a grated onion. Mix all these ingredients and apply the mask on your hair. You can wash your hair after 30 minutes, but it will be good if you leave the mask for an hour.Don’t worry you won’t be left smelling of onions I promise!
2. Birch mask
Take a tablespoon of birch leaves (from your garden if you are lucky enough to have a birch tree or by visiting http://www.justingredients.co.uk) and pour a glass of boiled water. Leave it for two hours, strain and rub into your scalp after washing your hair with a shampoo. There is no need to rinse your hair after. This one smells great.
3. Rosemary mask
Boil a cup of water and two teaspoons of rosemary for some five minutes, then strain the mixture and rub it into your scalp. No need to rinse, just like the birch mask. You’ll start noticing the effect of this rosemary mask after you use it for several times. Rosemary is also great for dandruff too!
Pick one of these masks, stick with it for one month reapplying for 2 times a week and see your hair shine!
Extra tips - If your hair is dry, try to avoid using a hairdryer, hair gels, hairspray, mousse and styling creams, since they damage the roots of your hair.
Try to wash your hair once or twice a week, because when you wash it too often, the natural oils of your hair may disappear. Use nourishing shampoo with a label “for dry hair,” “for controlling frizz” or “for frizzy hair.”
Follow shampooing with a good conditioner, but make sure that the conditioner doesn’t contain alcohol, because it will make your hair drier.
