StyleJunkee interview with Gintare Lisauskiene founder of Blossom & Jasmine

Posted: 8 February 2011 22:19

Mobile beauty company Blossom & Jasmine‘s expert therapists have built up an enviable client-list including Uma Thurman and Lisa Butcher, and have been extensively trained to carry out award-winning nutritional beauty range Oskia’s bespoke treatments… We caught up with Blossom & Jasmine’s founder to get the Oskia lowdown.

Which Oskia treatments do Blossom & Jasmine offer?
The Glow Getter Facial, Eye Wonder and Glowalation (was called the Essence).

How did the Oskia and Blossom & Jasmine collaboration come about?
Blossom & Jasmine was approached by Georgie, the founder of Oskia.

What’s Blossom & Jasmine’s signature Oskia facial?
The signature facial is a 60-minute glow-inducing and toning (with steam and extraction) facial, with bespoke face and eye massages.

What difference can you expect to see in your skin after an Oskia treatment?
Healthier, fresher looking skin, with a natural glow.

Blossom & Jasmine started doing Oskia facials this September. How have they been received?
Fantastically! In addition to the home treatments, Oskia performed these facials at the Liberty Beauty Room for a week-long special event to launch these range of home treatments. They received such rave reviews that Liberty booked us in for a second event, which has just taken place.

How is the Oskia facial bespoke?
Each client’s skin is extensively analysed before each treatment, and the facial is adapted to the skin’s specific requirements. For example, if the skin is sluggish lymphatic drainage massage techniques will be used.

Which is your favourite product from the Oskia range?
The new Renaissance Mask – it smells like heaven!

Health and Beauty Q & A

Q

I'm prone to blemoshes whenever I get stressed , so I need to find a products  that helps to dry up acne but also works as a cover -up. Can you recommend one I can use in case my skin breaks out just before my wedding day?

A

Gintare says: Firstly , I suggest that you start a beauty routine that involves cleansing , toning and moisturising every morning and evening.Try Proactiv (www. Proactive.co.uk) range of skincare , which are designed specifically to help clear blemishes and prevents future breakouts. Also, you could try calendula ceam which help to reduse redness and with hasel as an astringent. If acne becomes more of a regular problem , I suggest that you consult a dermatologist.
